Arcom has been alerted to comments made on the program Touche pas à mon poste! broadcast on January 31, 2022 on C8, concerning the representation by a graphic figure - an emoji - of a man with a rounded belly.

While the virulence of the comments may have been considered inappropriate by some viewers, it does not appear from the exchanges as a whole that their authors intended to encourage discriminatory behavior or incite hatred towards transgender people as a whole.

As a result, the AMF found no fault on the part of the channel, but nonetheless informed it of the disturbance caused by the comments.

It also reminded the channel of the responsibility of the audiovisual media in meeting the challenges of fight agains discrimination, which require, in particular, control of the airwaves.
