Arcom was alerted to comments made on the program Touche pas à mon poste! broadcast on October 12, 2021 on C8, concerning a news item relating to an assault.

First of all, she noted that while the comments made by a contributor tending to trivialize homophobic insults may have been shocking, they had been denounced on set. It therefore found no encouragement of discriminatory behavior on the grounds of sexual orientation during the disputed segment.

Furthermore, it noted that the homophobic nature of the attack had given rise to the expression of different points of view.

Consequently, the Authority did not take any action against the publisher.
