The French Superior Audiovisual Council, which became the Autorité de Régulation de la Communication Audiovisuelle et Numérique (Arcom) on January1, 2022, was alerted to a sequence in the program Touche pas à mon poste! shown on C8 on October 18, 2021.

The Council noted that this segment, based on a telephone hoax, was intended to mock public figures who, by virtue of their positions, are more exposed to criticism. The Council noted that a number of outrageous remarks were made about the plaintiff during the segment, without the host intervening to moderate them.

The Council therefore summoned the attention of the channel's management to the need for on-air control.
