The French Superior Audiovisual Council (Arcom since January1, 2022) was alerted to the diffusion of photos posted on the social network Twitter in the program Touche pas à mon poste! shown on September 16, 2020 on C8.

In a letter dated April 28, 2021, the independent rapporteur in charge of taking legal action and conducting investigations prior to the pronouncement of legal sanctions by the Conseil, in accordance with the proceedings set out in article 42-7 of the French Act of September 30, 1986, informed the Conseil of his decision not to take legal action against C8.

It considered that, since the disputed photos had already been published and widely commented on on Twitter, the channel had not breached its obligations.

Consequently, the Council did not intervene with the publisher.
