Tout le sport" show broadcast on April 22, 2021: intervention with France 3

Arcom was alerted to the diffusion of excerpts from an MMA fight during the Tout le sport program broadcast on France 3 on April 22, 2021.

It considered that, although the fight excerpts in question were very short in duration, their degree of violence was notable and accentuated by the use of slow motion. It also noted that the footage in question had been shown at peak listening time and was not accompanied by any signage.

Consequently, the Authority summoned the channel's attention to the need to comply with the provisions of the deliberation of October 21, 2020 relating to the retransmission of mixed martial arts fights on television services and on-demand audiovisual media services, and in particular to exercise vigilance in the choice of extracts shown and in their conditions of diffusion.
