The French Superior Audiovisual Council, which became the Autorité de régulation de la communication audiovisuelle et numérique (Arcom) on January1, 2022, was alerted to the subject of the documentary "Papa et maman craquent, enquête sur le burn-out parental" shown on the program Zone interdite on February 7, 2021 on M6.

It did not find any sequences in the report that could be construed as an infringement of personal rights, given that the plaintiffs had given their prior consent to be filmed for a year in a number of situations in their personal and professional lives, as part of a documentary whose purpose was not concealed from them and in which they testified freely.

Furthermore, the angle chosen by the publisher for the treatment of a subject is a matter of editorial freedom.

Consequently, the Council did not intervene with the publisher.
