Having been consulted, pursuant to article 12 of law no. 86-1067 of September 30, 1986 as amended, on a draft decree setting August 1, 2005 as the end date for the transitional provisions provided for in article 2 of the decree of March 14, 1978 setting television standards in mainland France (obligation to use color identification signals, known as "SECAM bottles"), the French Superior Audiovisual Council, after deliberation at its plenary meeting of July 26, 2005, issues the following opinion:
The Council issues a favorable opinion on the project submitted to it.
This opinion will be notified to the Minister of Culture and Communication and published in the Journal officiel de la République française.
