On December 5, 2017, the French Competition Authority referred the matter to the French Superior Audiovisual Council (French Superior Audiovisual Council), on the basis of Article R. 463-9 of the French Commercial Code, in the context of a submission of a case before the court by towerCast concerning possible practices of abuse of a dominant position implemented by TDF in the terrestrial digital television (DTT) hertzian diffusion sector.
