Decree no. 2002-27 of January 8, 2002 setting the basic rates of the television licence fee applicable from January 1, 2002.

Article 1
As of January 1, 2002, the basic rates of the television licence fee are as follows:
1° "Black and white" television receivers: 74.31 euros ;
2° "Color" television receivers: 116.50 euros.

Article 2
Decree no. 2000-5 of January 5, 2000 on the setting of basic rates for the television licence fee applicable from January 1, 2000 is abrogated with effect from January 1, 2002.

Article 3
The Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industry, the Minister of Culture and Communication and the Secretary of State for the Budget are each responsible for the execution of the present decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
