Decree no. 2009-495 of April 30, 2009 establishing the committee responsible for monitoring the implementation of Title IV of Law no. 2009-258 of March 5, 2009 on audiovisual communication and the new public television service.

The Prime Minister,

On the report of the Minister of Culture and Communication,

Having regard to law no. 2009-258 of March 5, 2009 on audiovisual communication and the new public television service, in particular article 74,

Decree:

Article 1
The Minister for Culture has set up a committee to monitor the implementation of the provisions of Title IV of the above-mentioned law of March 5, 2009 relating to cinema and other moving image arts and industries.

Article 2
The committee comprises :
- two deputies and two senators, including one full member and one alternate member respectively, appointed by the cultural affairs committees of their respective assemblies;
- two representatives of the Minister of Culture, including one full member and one alternate, appointed by the Minister of Culture.

Article 3
The committee meets when convened by at least one of its members.

Article 4
The Minister of Culture and Communication is responsible for the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Journal officiel de la République française.
