On March 27, 2019, the French Superior Audiovisual Council (Conseil supérieur de l'audiovisuel) adopted a notice (downloadable below) in view of this election, which supplements its deliberation of January 4, 2011 applicable to radio and television services during election periods.
The notice, which has been approved by the Government of New Caledonia, applies to all radio and television services shown in New Caledonia from April1, 2019.
The radio and television services referred to in the notice shall transmit to the French Superior Audiovisual Council, by electronic means, statements of the speaking times of lists of candidates, political parties and groupings and their supporters, in accordance with the timetable set by the Council.
