On July 29, 2020, the French Superior Audiovisual Council (French Superior Audiovisual Council) adopted a notice (downloadable below) in view of the consultation on New Caledonia's accession to full sovereignty.

This notice applies to all radio and television services shown in New Caledonia from August 24, 2020.

Pursuant to Decreeno. 2020-776 of June 24, 2020 on the convocation of voters and the organization of the consultation on the accession of New Caledonia to full sovereignty, the campaign for the consultation opens on Monday, September 21, 2020, at midnight, and closes on Friday, October 2, 2020, at midnight.

Prior to the consultation campaign, this notice establishes a period running from Monday August 24, 2020 until the day before the opening of the consultation campaign, Sunday September 20, 2020.
