On January 30, 2014, the French Superior Audiovisual Council received a request from Eutelsat SA to the Agence nationale des fréquences for authorization to operate frequency summonses for a satellite scheme at orbital position 25.5° East.
After deliberating on March 5, 2014, it issued a favorable opinion on the demand submitted to it.
It points out that the diffusion of audiovisuel communication services via satellite systems must comply with the provisions set out in law no. 86-1067 of September 30, 1986 relating to the freedom of communication.
