On November 2, 2021, the Competition Authority referred to Arcom a proposed acquisition of exclusive control of Métropole Télévision (M6) by the Bouygues group.
On September 16, 2022, Bouygues announced that it was revoking its proposed acquisition. This decision, which puts an end to the proceedings before the Competition Authority, also puts an end to the ongoing investigation into the change of control of the M6 group's terrestrial services before the Authority.
