Opinion no. 2012-02 of January 10, 2012 on a draft decree amending decree no. 2007-958 of May 15, 2007 on financial relations between the State and organizations in the public audiovisual industry

The French Superior Audiovisual Council (Conseil supérieur de l'audiovisuel - CSA), after deliberating in plenary session on January 10, 2012, has been asked to give its opinion on a draft decree amending decree no. 2007-958 of May 15, 2007 on financial relations between the State and organizations in the public audiovisual communication sector, in accordance with article 9 of the amended law no. 86-1067 of September 30, 1986 on freedom of communication.

The French Superior Audiovisual Council is in favor of the draft decree, the purpose of which is to implement the commitments made by the Government to the European Commission regarding the control of compensation for costs incurred by the performance of public service missions by public audiovisual industry bodies.

This notice will be published in the Journal officiel de la République française.
