Recommendation n°2020-01 of March 18, 2020 amending Recommendation n°2019-04 of November 20, 2019 of the French Superior Audiovisual Council to radio and television services in view of the renewal of municipal and community councillors, Paris councillors and Lyon in mainland councillors on March 15 and 22, 2020.

The French Superior Audiovisual Council,

Having regard to the electoral code ;

Having regard to the general code of local authorities;

Having regard to Act no. 86-1067 of September 30, 1986, as amended, on freedom of communication;

Having regard to decree n°2020-267 of March 17, 2020 postponing the second round of the renewal of municipal and community councillors, Paris councillors and Lyon in mainland councillors, initially set for March 22, 2020 by decree n°2019-928 of September 4, 2019 ;

Having regard to deliberation n°2011-1 of January 4, 2011 relating to the principle of political plurality in radio and television services during election periods;

Having regard to the French Superior Audiovisual Council's notice n°2019-04 of November 20, 2019 to radio and television services in view of the renewal of municipal and community councillors, Paris councillors and Lyon inland councillors on March 15 and 22, 2020;

Considering the postponement of the second round of the renewal of municipal and community councillors, Paris councillors and Lyon in mainland councillors, and the consequences to be drawn from this,

Decides :

Art. 1. - The November 20, 2019 notice is amended as follows:

1. In the second paragraph, the words "until the day on which the election is won" are replaced by the words "until Sunday March 15, 2020 at 8 p.m.";
2. In the second paragraph of 2, the words " then from Monday March 16 to Friday March 20 inclusive" are deleted;
3. In paragraph 3, the last line of the table is deleted.

Art. 2 - The present notice applies to French Polynesia and New Caledonia.

Art. 3 - The present notice will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
