As part of its legal mission to observe the legal and illegal uses of paperless cultural goods, Hadopi set up a barometer of consumption of paperless cultural objects in 2011. It measures online cultural use of nine cultural goods: music, films, series, photos, video games, software and digital Ebooks, to which online press and sports broadcasts have been added since 2019.
