By 2021, consumption of paperless cultural objects will have stabilized, and will now concern 83% of Internet users, or almost 43 million consumers.
The number of subscribers to music, subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) or pay-TV supplies continues to increase, and now concerns almost two-thirds of Internet users (65%). SVOD services are the most popular, with almost one in two Internet users subscribing, a figure that has more than dubbed since 2018.
27% of Internet users report unlawful use. Illegal use, at a similar level to 2020, is however becoming more regular. Illegal use of music and especially sports is on the rise, certainly in connection with the resumption of sports competition.
Alternative practices are on the increase: DNS tuning in particular concerns one Internet user in five (19%).
