Arcom has published a report on the contribution of on-demand audiovisual media services (ADMS) to the production of audiovisual and/or cinematic works, for the year 2022.
For fiscal year 2022, the declarations of twenty-one on-demand television and audiovisual media services or groupings subject to the law's contribution to cinematic production obligations were examined, as were the declarations of twenty-two on-demand television and audiovisual media services or groupings subject to the law's contribution to cinematic production obligations. The balance sheets of these publishers were examined and approved by Arcom on December 20, 2023.
In total, almost €1.582 billion was withheld from production contribution obligations in 2022.
