For several years now, digital technology has made it possible for people with disabilities to access books online, within the legal framework of the "disability exception" to copyright. However, the supply of Ebooks available to them must now be expanded: nearly a million people are concerned by this central issue of access to knowledge and culture.
As part of its monitoring and observation role, the HADOPI's board has entrusted one of its members, Alain Lequeux, with a mission to identify the conditions for improving this supply.
