Analysis of the different French and foreign models for fighting piracy abroad.

Hadopi's Legal, European and International Affairs Department has been continuously monitoring international anti-piracy initiatives since 2011, and this is the third time that a dedicated publication has been issued. This new edition includes news of which Hadopi is aware over the period from January 2019 to January 2021.

The international monitoring report includes a summary of highlights and current challenges in the fight against piracy, evoking the most emblematic national schemes, as well as appendices with detailed fact sheets for each of the 32 countries studied. For the first time, to meet the expectations of Hadopi's international contacts, a fact sheet is devoted to France.

This work was made possible thanks to the network of international contacts built up by Hadopi over the years. Hadopi would like to thank all its contacts, and in particular the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) and the Motion Picture Association (MPA).
