The French Superior Audiovisual Council (French Superior Audiovisual Council) and Hadopi have joined forces to conduct a joint study on the development of online sports-related audio and video content supplies (OTT - over the top), including sports broadcasts, programs based on these broadcasts (short extracts, summaries, highlights, etc.), sports news, and sports-related series and documentaries. In this study, the supply available in France and abroad, as well as the business models and strategies implemented by the players, are analyzed in the light of user behavior and profiles. The aim of the study is threefold: to assess the proximity of these OTT supplies to those of TV channels, to anticipate the market's development prospects, and to estimate the impact of the emergence of these supplies on piracy.
