Arcom has published a summary of the contributions made by the user interfaces listed on March 14, which will soon be required to ensure the appropriate visibility of services of general interest.

On March 14, 2023, the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication (Arcom) launched a public consultation to gather written comments from interested parties on a draft deliberation on appropriate visibility measures for user interfaces subject to the obligations under article 20-7 of the law of September 30, 1986.

The public consultation closed on April 21, 2023.

The Authority received 21 contributions, from a wide variety of players (service editors, distributors, manufacturers, infrastructure operators, professional organizations...): Alliance Française des Industries du Numérique (AFNUM), Altice France, ARTE France, Bouygues Telecom, Fédération Française des Télécoms (FFT), France Médias Monde, France Télévisions, Groupe Canal Plus, Groupe Iliad-Free, Groupe M6, Groupe NRJ, Groupe TF1, Lagardère, Orange, Radio France, Société des auteurs et compositeurs dramatiques (SACD), Samsung France, Syndicat des entreprises de commerce international de matériel audio, vidéo et informatique grand public (SECIMAVI), Syndicat des radios indépendantes (SIRTI), TDF and TV5 Monde.
