On Friday February 10, in partnership with Arcom, the final court of appeal organized a conference on freedom of expression in the digital age.

The conference took place in the Grand'chambre of the final court of appeal, on Friday February 10, from 9am to 1pm.

Roch-Olivier Maistre, Chairman of the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication, Benoît Loutrel, member of Arcom and Chairman of the "Supervision of online platforms" working group, and Laurence Pécaut-Rivolier, member of Arcom and qualified personality appointed to oversee the administrative blocking of sites that incite or glorify acts of terrorism or child pornography, took part in the conference.

  • 9:45 am Benoît Loutrel takes part in the round-table discussion: "Freedom of expression in the light of new communication methods".
  • 11 a.m. Roch-Olivier Maistre takes the floor.
  • 11:15 Round-table discussion on: "Freedom of expression in times of crisis (war, attacks, pandemics)" moderated by Laurence Pécaut-Rivolier.
