The Authority's third Study Day will enable researchers in the humanities and social sciences to present and discuss their work on audiovisual and digital media with an audience of experts.

The third edition of the Arcom Study Day, organized this year in partnership with the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024. The aim of this collaborative event is to strengthen ties between the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication and researchers working on challenges related to audiovisual and digital communication.

In May 2024, Arcom published a call for contributions from the scientific community for this third Study Day.

The day will be structured around 4 thematic panels, 2 keynotes anddiscussions, covering a wide range of topics: the latest developments in the Digital Services Regulation, audience protection, online content moderation and access to information. Speeches by renowned researchers from leading European laboratories will offer critical and innovative perspectives on the current challenges of audiovisual and digital regulation, and serve as a platform for dialogue with all the players present.

The presentations, subtitled in French, will be broadcast live, without prior registration, on the Arcom website, arcom.fr, and on the Authority's social networks.
