On May 20, 2025, the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication was informed of a proposed takeover of Chérie HD (NRJ Group), publisher of the Chérie 25 service, by CMA Media, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM group. In this context, on June 5, 2025, the company was also asked to change the name of the Chérie 25 service to "RMC Life".

In compliance with the proceedings provided for in article 42-3 of the law of September 30, 1986, Arcom decided at its meeting today to grant approval for this operation.

This decision entails the signature of an amendment to the Chérie 25 agreement to take account of the change in the shareholder structure of the service editor, as well as the change of name of the service to "RMC Life".
