Arcom decisions concerning sequences from the programs "Le 6 à 7" and "Touche pas à mon poste".

Under the provisions of two proceedings initiated following the diffusion of the shows "Le 6 à 7" on November 4, 9, 17, 2022, January 24 and 25, 2023 and "Touche pas à mon poste" on November 17, 2022 and January 24 and 30, 2023, Arcom issued two legal sanctions against the C8 channel on June 21, 2023: one in the amount of 120,000 euros and the other in the amount of 80,000 euros.

These legal sanctions relate to breaches of article 9 of the decree of March 27, 1992 prohibiting surreptitious advertising, following the display of logos and brands of clothing, footwear and jewelry in these various programs.

Arcom also decided not to intervene against the C8 channel under the provisions of another legal sanctions proceeding initiated following the diffusion of film presentation sequences in the "Le 6 à 7" and "Touche pas à mon poste" programs on April 19 and May 4, 2022.

On this occasion, the Autorité decided to launch a review of the conditions for presenting cinematographic works on television, with particular regard to the current authorization of television advertising in favor of the film industry.
