The CSA was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Françoise Trepat on Thursday April 30, 2026.

In the early 1980s, Françoise Trepat joined the Service d'observation des programmes (SOP), the forerunner of the French Superior Audiovisual Council (French Superior Audiovisual Council). At the French Superior Audiovisual Council, as of the 1990s, she managed institutional and press relations under the presidencies of Jacques Boutet, Hervé Bourges and Dominique Baudis. Between 2007 and 2016, she worked in the Council's Information and Documentation Department, now the Communications Division.

Deeply committed to the regulator's missions, Françoise Trepat has worked throughout her career to make them easier to understand.

An engaging personality, appreciated for her outspokenness and pragmatism, Françoise Trepat will have left an indelible mark on all those within the institution who had the good fortune to know her.

Arcom associates itself with the grief of her family, to whom it sends its most sincere condolences.
