Chairman Roch-Olivier Maistre and the members of Arcom were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Pascal Josèphe, former head of TF1, La Cinq, France 2 and France 3.

A great connoisseur of the media, a lover of culture and deeply attached to the audiovisual landscape to which he devoted his entire career, Pascal Josèphe left his mark on an industry whose transformations he accompanied, and which will miss him for a long time to come. In particular, he brought his creativity, energy and values to bear on the programming of the channels under his management, so as to meet the high standards expected of audiovisual operators by their various audiences.

Faithful to his friendships and commitments, Pascal Josèphe has, alongside Hervé Bourges, closely accompanied the profound transformation of the media sector, including abroad. In particular, he gave birth to France 2 and France 3, and made a major contribution to the development of public audiovisuel in Africa. A visionary with an eye for new forms of expression, Pascal Josèphe was also instrumental in launching the "Plumm" medium, dedicated to Mediterranean culture and the French-speaking world.

The audiovisuel world has lost one of its great figures, whose achievements, commitment and humanity will remain in all our statements of case. Arcom associates itself with the grief and sorrow of his family and friends.
