Writer, director and leading media personality, Frédéric Mitterrand left his mark on the French cultural landscape for decades, notably through his unwavering commitment to the audiovisuel sector.
A tireless lover of culture, Frédéric Mitterrand has devoted a large part of his career to the production of audiovisual works. These have enriched the French cultural scene. As a female presenter, producer and director, he has captured unique moments in French society through his documentaries and films, offering a singular vision of his times.
His passion for cinema led him to support numerous film projects, contributing to the international influence of French cinema. Frédéric Mitterrand was a fervent defender of cultural diversity and freedom of expression, values he always embodied.
At the same time as his career in audiovisuel, Frédéric Mitterrand also held important political positions, notably as Minister of Culture and Communication. His political action has always been guided by his passion for culture and his desire to promote French arts and literature.
