Arcom welcomes the signing of an agreement between Amazon Prime Video and professional organizations in the audiovisual production sector

Arcom is delighted to announce the signing of an agreement between Amazon Prime Video and the audiovisual industry's professional organizations.

A year ago, the regulation authority signed agreements with the main foreign SMADs offering their supply in France. At the time, these agreements confirmed the concrete involvement of major international players in the audiovisuel and film industry.

At the time, the Autorité reiterated that these agreements were intended to be enriched by professional agreements.

The agreement between Amazon Prime Video and professional organizations is part of this approach. This text will be transposed by the Authority into the Amazon Prime Video agreement.

Arcom would like to summon the conclusion of agreements with other foreign video-on-demand players, for the benefit of French creation and its diversity.
