Arcom is delighted that an agreement has been signed between Netflix and the professional organizations of the audiovisual industry.

This agreement will shortly be translated into the agreement between Netflix and Arcom. When this agreement was formalized, along with those signed with Amazon for Amazon Prime Video and Disney for Disney+, in December 2021, the regulator summoned inter-professional agreements to complete and enrich these texts.

This has now been done for Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, which has committed to investing even more in the documentary genre, animation and works of original EOF. Arcom is confident that discussions between professional organizations and Disney+ will soon be concluded.

The regulator will continue to work alongside all stakeholders - authors, producers, distributors and publishers - to finance and promote French and European cinematographic and audiovisual creation.
