Call for expressions of interest to show television services from the Pic du Midi peak

The French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication is considering whether to authorize the diffusion of new local television services in high definition from the Pic du Midi. The coverage area, comprising around 880,000 people, is shown in orange on the map below. Two to three channels could benefit from this coverage.

The Authority would like to hear the views of operators on the advisability of such a diffusion from the Pic du Midi. Where appropriate, they are invited to share any plans they may have for this area, specifying any programming or economic factors they feel should be brought to the Authority's attention.

Contributions must be sent electronically by midnight (Paris time) on Tuesday June 28, 2022 at the latest , with the subject line "Appel à manifestation d'intérêt pour une diffusion TNT depuis le pic du Midi".
