On September 28, 2022, as part of the call for tenders for the diffusion of two local television services on digital terrestrial television (DTT) in New Caledonia, the Authority interviewed the representatives of the ICI association for the "NC9" project and the S.T.R company for the "CALEDONIA" project.
The Authority has decided to select these applications, and will now enter into discussions with the editors on the provisions of their future agreements. Authorization to show the service on DTT will be issued to each editor once an agreement has been reached between the two parties, and after consultation with the New Caledonian government.
