The authorization granted to Canal+, the national program of the Canal+ television service, for its diffusion on digital terrestrial television (DTT) expires on December 5, 2023. Pursuant to the provisions of article 28-1 of the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication of September 30, 1986, on June 1, 2022 the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication adopted a decision enabling the renewal of this authorization without a call for applications. The publisher's representatives were heard at a public hearing on June 30, 2022.

In accordance with the law, the AMF will hold public hearings with representatives of interested third parties who have made a request before June 20, 2022.

Lasting 30 minutes each, these hearings will take place on Tuesday July 5, as of 11am:

  • Groupe M6 ;
  • Société des auteurs et compositeurs dramatiques (SACD).
