On May 20, 2025, Arcom was informed of a proposed takeover of Chérie HD, owned by NRJ Group, by CMA Média, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group. Chérie HD publishes the Chérie 25 service, which is shown in mainland France on digital terrestrial television.

This transaction is subject to the approval proceedings provided for in article 42-3 of the law of September 30, 1986 on freedom of communication.

At this stage, the Autorité does not intend to carry out an impact study, and has initiated direct discussions with both parties. It also invites anyone wishing to comment on this transaction to do so.
