A journalist by training, Virginie Dangles has worked for several private and public TV channels, notably, between 2008 and 2014, in the international newsroom at France 24.
In 2014, she was appointed Editor-in-Chief of Reporters Without Borders, before joining the Fondation de France in 2019 as Head of the Editorial Department, with a view to developing and promoting philanthropic initiatives in France.
In 2022, she became head of the press office for the City of Paris, where her work focuses in particular on communications relating to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and major urban projects.
