The companies Virgin Radio Régions and RFM Régions, controlled by the Lagardère Active Broadcast (LAB) group, holders of category C broadcasting licences for the operation of most of the local services affiliated to Virgin Radio and RFM, have submitted requests to Arcom to reorganise their territorial locations.

In view of the possibility that an approval from the Autorité could significantly modify the markets in question, Arcom decided on April 13, 2022 to publish an impact study which aims, as part of the process of examining the requests made, to measure the potential impact of the various territorial reorganisations envisaged with regard to the criteria of the law of September 30, 1986.

This study enables any interested third party to provide Arcom with its observations on the various operations envisaged.

Requests for hearings must be submitted to Arcom no later than April 28, 2022. Written contributions can be sent to the Authority by May 16, 2022.
