Arcom received a request from the companies holding licenses to broadcast the twelve Fun Radio services in category C to modify the quota regime in order to benefit from the derogatory regime reserved for "radios specializing in musical discovery" introduced by the law of July 7, 2016.

This demand concerned the following companies:

  • A2B communication: Fun Radio Corse ;
  • Canal Star : Fun Radio Côte d'Azur, Fun Radio Méditerranée, Fun Radio Nîmes, Fun Radio Midi-Pyrénées, Fun Radio Provence;
  • Musique Nancy FM: Fun Radio Lorraine;
  • SPRGB: Fun Radio Atlantique, Fun Radio Belfort-Montbéliard, Fun Radio Bourgogne, Fun Radio Dunkerque, Fun Radio Lorraine.

The Authority has decided not to oppose the modification of these contractual commitments, insofar as such modification does not appear to be of a substantial nature, due to its purpose or scope, nor to be such as to compromise the fundamental imperative of plurality and the public interest.
