Pursuant to the roadmap for general calls for applications for the 2021-2026 period adopted on December 16, 2020, on January 23, 2023 Arcom opened a public consultation prior to the launch of a call for FM applications in mountain areas located in the Savoie and Haute-Savoie départements.
The aim of this public consultation was twofold: firstly, to take stock of the economic situation of the radio markets in question, and secondly, to determine the areas in which a search for new frequencies could be carried out.
The deadline for contributions was February 28, 2023.
The Authority received responses from 12 players in the radio sector.
