Summon for contributions on February 5, 2025 prior to the preparation of the FM frequency plan within the jurisdiction of Arcom Lyon
In application of its roadmap for general calls for applications for the period 2021-2026, the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication (Arcom) is opening a summon for contributions prior to drawing up the FM frequency plan for the next call for applications in the Arcom Lyon area, which it plans to launch due to the expiry of numerous authorizations.
Objectives of the call for contributions
The aim of this call for contributions is twofold:
- objective no. 1: to determine the search areas for new frequencies.
- Objective 2: to take stock of broadcasting licenses and the local radio landscape.
Response transmission mode
Responses to the call for contributions must be sent to the Authority by March 19, 2025 at the latest .
Responses should be sent by e-mail, with the subject line "Response to the call for contributions FM Lyon"; responses may be accompanied by technical contributions, which will be provided in accordance with the template available on the Arcom website.
Public nature of responses
Responses will be considered public and may be published on the Arcom website, with the exception of elements for which confidentiality is explicitly demanded, and technical contributions. Subsequently, a summary of the responses and a list of the areas to be searched for frequencies will be published on the Arcom website.
