In application of its roadmap for the general FM calls for applications for the 2021-2026 period adopted on December 16, 2020, Arcom opened a call for contributions on October 29, 2024 , prior to drawing up the FM frequency plan for the future call for applications on Reunion Island.
The purpose of this call for contributions was twofold:
- to take stock of broadcasting authorizations and the local radio landscape ;
- to determine the areas where new frequencies will be sought, with a view to drawing up the frequency plan.
The deadline for contributions was December 5, 2024.
Arcom received responses from five players in the radio sector.
