Arcom may modify the following information from time to time, so please visit this page regularly to browse any new information we may publish.

The personal data we collect

The personal data collected in the course of recruitment is processed by the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication (Arcom), headquartered at 39-43 Quai André Citroën, 75015 Paris. In accordance with regulations, Arcom only processes data that has a direct and necessary link with the job offered or with the assessment of the applicant's professional skills. This data is collected at the time of your application and during the recruitment process.

Why is this data collected?

The provision of this data is necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (management of your application). You are under no legal or contractual obligation to provide this data to Arcom. However, if you do not provide the data in question, we may not be able to process your application.

Who will have access to this data? For how long?

The data will be accessible to Arcom staff involved in the recruitment process. Where appropriate, this data may also be communicated to service providers assisting Arcom in its recruitment processes.

When applying for a job, candidates are informed that, if they receive a negative reply, they may demand that their application file be destroyed, or extend the retention period for their application, which is set by default at 2 years in the active database, and a further 3 years, with more restricted access, for the purposes of complying with legal obligations, from the date of the last contact.

Your rights concerning your data

You have the right to access, rectify, delete and limit the processing of your personal data (see cnil.fr for more information on your rights).

These rights may be exercised by contacting Arcom's Data Protection Officer. Requests must be accompanied by a copy of your identity document.

The French national data protection agency (CNIL) is the administrative authority responsible for processing personal data. Complaints relating to the use of personal data may be submitted to the CNIL.
