Arcom examined the compliance of 39 non-cinema TV channels and 11 cinema channels.

Following this review, Arcom :

  • warned the editors of the Demain, Mandarin and Sud 1ère services against renewing the contractual commitment set out in article 4-1-3 of their agreement (provision of the balance sheet);
  • sent a letter to the publisher of the Mélody d'Afrique service against the renewal of its failure to fulfill its obligation to broadcast original EOF audiovisual works and its failure to fulfill its obligation to broadcast European works;
  • sent a letter to the service editor Auto Plus TV and Maison et Travaux TV against renewed breaches of articles 16 and 17 of the European Audiovisual Media Services (AVMS) directive;
  • sent a letter to the publisher of the TV Pitchoun service asking it to better respect, in the future, its commitment to comply with article 17 of the AVMS directive concerning the programming of an adequate share of recent European works by independent producers.
