Summon for applications on July 13, 2021 within the jurisdiction of the Marseille CTA (Corsican territorial collectivity): selected applicants
On July 13, 2021, Arcom launched a summon for applications in the territorial collectivity of Corsica (under the jurisdiction of the Marseille territorial audiovisuel committee) for 125 frequencies, including 93 from expiring authorizations and 32 new frequencies, spread over 17 zones. After selecting the applications on June 8, 2022, the Authority decided on October 18, 2023 to issue the first part of the authorizations for 34 frequencies from expiring authorizations, spread over 11 zones.
In view of the Italian Republic's disagreement on all the new frequencies notified to the French Republic as part of the international coordination proceedings, on the one hand, and the interference created by certain transmitters deployed on Italian territory likely to compromise the rights of use of the new frequencies, on the other, Arcom, meeting on April 25, 2024, decided, pending the successful conclusion of negotiations with the Italian Republic and in the interests of the public and listeners:
1. as a first step, to modify the frequency plan of the above-mentioned general call by withdrawing the 32 new frequencies. The selection of June 8, 2022 is thus abrogated with regard to the frequencies still to be allocated;
2. secondly, to make a new selection of candidates for the 59 remaining frequencies resulting from expired authorizations. Arcom has decided to select the following candidates (download list below):
