Arcom has published a report on the contribution of on-demand audiovisual media services (ADMS) to the production of audiovisual and/or cinematographic works in 2023.
For the 2023 financial year, the declarations of sixteen television and on-demand audiovisual media services or groupings subject to obligations to contribute to film production were examined, as were the declarations of twenty television and on-demand audiovisual media services or groupings subject to obligations to contribute to audiovisual production. These publishers' obligations were examined and approved by Arcom on 18 December 2024.
In total, almost €1.59 billion was withheld from production contribution obligations in 2023.
