Arcom publishes the 2024 annual report on the control of administrative schemes to fight the diffusion of terrorist and child pornography content online by the qualified personality appointed to the Arcom college.
Child pornography content continues to account for the majority of takedown requests compared with terrorist content, accounting for around 92% of requests reviewed by the qualified person in 2024, a breakdown equivalent to that seen in previous years. After the increase in takedown requests in 2023compared with 2022, all takedown and blocking figures are down sharply in 2024 compared with the previous year.
