Art. 40 RSN: entry into force of the researcher approval proceedings for access to researcher data

Article 40 of the European Digital Services Regulation (DSR) introduces an approval procedure for access to data held by very large online platforms (VLOPs) and very large online search engines (VLOSEs), giving approved researchers unprecedented access to data - including non-public data - held by these platforms.
In its capacity as coordinator for digital services (CSN), Arcom will participate in the researcher approval proceedings, making an initial assessment of the demand's compliance with the criteria set out in article 40 of the RSN.
