On September 10, 2025, the Autorité de Régulation de la Communication Audiovisuelle et Numérique (French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication) launched a call for bidders for a local television service broadcast free-to-air by terrestrial hertzian means, on a full-time basis and in high definition in the Nantes area.
One application was received and declared admissible on December 17, 2025: that of N7 TV for the "vià Télénantes" project.
The applicant attended a public hearing at the Authority's headquarters on Wednesday February 11, 2026.
