Public consultation prior to the allocation of frequencies to show national DTT channels in 2025

Authorizations for fifteen national digital terrestrial television (DTT) services are due to expire in 2025.

The French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication (Arcom) will shortly be launching - in view of the large number of authorizations involved - the process of allocating these resources by way of a call for candidates, in accordance with article 30-1 of law no. 86-1067 of September 30, 1986 on freedom of communication. This will be the largest wave of frequency allocations since the launch of DTT in the early 2000s.

The purpose of this public consultation is to browse the comments of interested parties on the impact of the allocation of these resources, and on the terms and conditions of their call-up.

Contributions must be sent to the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication by September 29, 2023 at the latest, electronically or by post to the following address:
